I needed help with my dog when it came to reactivity. Every time people came into our home, he would bark for upwards of an hour, he would shake and tuck his tail. He also was very determined on the leash! We have a 5-year-old male, 80 lb Lab Rottweiler mix.
After only initial session, Kate was able to help give some direction to build his confidence, help him feel safe and do behavior specific drills. We have to do our follow-up but even after the one session and the homework, our dog now calms down after approximately 5 minutes of a guest arriving. I do not know of another dog trainer who works with behaviors in the area. Kate is a wonderful, kind and gentle human being. Highly recommend working with her.

Kate did walk and trains with our small dog this past summer before (sadly for us) relocating. Our dog absolutely adored her, scheduling was easy, she was always reliable and provided detailed updates on their training sessions with photos and videos.

Kate was a huge help with welcoming our first puppy into our home. She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and non-judgmental. She has made the transition into owning and managing a puppy/adolescent dog much much easier. We have a well behaved pup thanks to her!!
Kate has been working with my family to help us with 2 very different dogs. One who is afraid of his shadow and one who believes she is the queen of the world. Kate has helped us immensely and has such great insight and ideas. We've been began attending group training to keep up on what we are learning and to stay engaged. Kate has also been a great asset for when we cannot walk the dogs and I trust her fully to stay in control of the house ponies we have. Totally recommend! Thanks Kate for becoming part of our pack!
